In 2015 Emily Raboteau’s microrrelato/flash fiction beat 35,609 entries from 149 countries for a $20,000 prize. The Fundación César Egido Serrano supports the Museo De La Palabra in Madrid, Spain. This foundation dedicates itself to words transcending borders. Entries are welcomed in Arabic, English, Hebrew and Spanish. One winner is chosen from each language all of whom traveled to Madrid to receive this prize.
