Anthony Morales

Anthony Morales is a writer/educator from the Bronx who has appeared on HBO's Def Poetry and toured the US and Puerto Rico. He is a VONA alum and facilitator of La SOPA workshops in NYC. He has been an English teacher in public schools for 15 years. He has published Story Avenue (2005) Chevere Cafre (2007) dice queso (2010) Hood Night (2011) So Far (2015) and soon to be released Ponerme Yo (2016). He still writes by the chessboard benches in Clason Point Gardens. He can be found at various cyphers and open mics and conferences spitting his Nuyorican Ghetto Gospels for the blocks, hoods, goons, goblins, and illiterati alike.
